Marsha Berger GrantMarsha joined Apex Physical Therapy in April of 2003 as the Managing Director of our Chalfont office. She brings more than 20 years clinical experience in orthopedics to the Apex team. Marsha’s education has been extensive. She received her Master of Science in physical therapy from Arcadia University after earning her bachelor’s degree in health education from Temple University. She has been certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy as an Orthopedic Specialist. And in May of 2007, she earned her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University. In the clinic, Marsha’s interests include treatment of the spine, shoulder pathology and women’s health issues. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. And she takes multiple continuing education courses each year to stay current on the latest treatment techniques. When she is not in the clinic, Marsha and her horse, Major, volunteer in therapeutic riding activities for special needs children and adults. She is also an avid runner and enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her husband.

Carrie Anne DePerro, MPT

Senior Physical Therapist

Carrie Anne DePerroCarrie Anne DePerro joined the Apex team as a physical therapist in our Chalfont office in March of 2006. She received her Master of Physical Therapy and her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia in May of 2000. Prior to her position with Apex, Carrie Anne practiced physical therapy in both hospital and clinical settings in Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania and Gloucester County in New Jersey. Over the last six years, she’s provided outpatient physical therapy, as well as acute care/hospital-based physical therapy, acute rehabilitation and physical therapy to nursing home residents. Her wide range of experience allows her to empathize with clients with a variety of functional limitations and/or disabilities. Carrie Anne has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1999. She also enjoys attending the annual Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association (PPTA) conference in October in order to stay up-to-date with the latest advances in the field. Her areas of clinical interest include shoulder, hip and knee rehabilitation. Outside the office, Carrie Anne likes to spend time with her husband and two daughters. She also volunteers at her high school alma mater, Saint Basil Academy, by judging the annual school science fair. In addition, she enjoys playing billiards in the American Pool Association and taking part in competitions for the sport.

Allison Clark, DPT

Physical Therapist

Allison ClarkAllison joined the Apex Physical Therapy team at the Pottstown-Coventry office in September of 2008 then transferred to the Chalfont office in September of 2009 to be closer to home. She received her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia in August of 2008 and her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Pennsylvania’s Shippensburg University in May of 2004. During her time at Shenandoah University, Allison participated in a research project, which set out to develop a screening tool to identify risk factors and aid in the prevention of injury in pre-professional adolescent dancers. She has a special interest in furthering her education in the areas of manual therapy and sports medicine. Allison is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and participates in annual conferences and meetings. Outside of the clinic, Allison enjoys spending time with friends and family; listening to local bands; reading; photography; and spending time outdoors and with her dog.
