Anne P. Schutt, DPT

Managing Director

Anne SchuttAnne joined Apex’s management team as the Managing Director of the Pottstown-Coventry office after working in the Royersford office since September of 2004. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Anne is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, as well as a member of the Orthopedic and Hand Therapy sections of the organization. Continuing education is important to Anne and she takes multiple courses annually in order to stay current on the newest manual treatment techniques. In the clinic, Anne’s primary interest is in spine rehabilitation and outside of the clinic Anne spends her time camping, hiking, rock climbing with her husband.

Dana Adelizzi, DPT

Physical Therapist

Dana AdelizziDana joined the staff of Apex Physical Therapy at the Pottstown-Coventry office in June of 2005. She graduated from Widener University in May of 2005, where she earned her Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Dana also completed the certificate program in Health Care Management from the School of Business Administration. Prior to attending Widener, Dana received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in physical therapy from Bloomsburg University in 1999. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association nationally. Dana enjoys working with people of all ages with an array of diagnoses and functional limitations. Outside of the clinic, Dana enjoys staying active with biking and exercise, along with lounging around with a good book.

Terry Smith, MPT

Physical Therapist

Terry SmithTerry joined the staff of Apex Physical Therapy at the Pottstown-Coventry office in May of 2007. He graduated in 2001 with a master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Philadelphia’s Temple University. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania in 1989. For the six years since the completion of his physical therapy education, Terry has been practicing in outpatient orthopedics. He has a strong clinical interest in utilizing soft tissue techniques for the treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. He is certified in Myofascial Release I and II – a technique for eliminating pain, increasing range of motion and balancing the body. He also plans to take more courses to increase his effectiveness as a therapist. In addition, Terry is an active member of the APTA. Outside the clinic, Terry enjoys spending time with his daughter. He also enjoys biking, visiting with family and friends, and rooting for Philadelphia sports teams, no matter how good or bad they may be.
