Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy
Christine joined Apex Physical Therapy as the Managing Director of the Pottstown-Coventry office in October of 2008. She graduated with her doctorate in Physical Therapy from Slippery Rock University in Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania in 1998. Prior to this, she earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Carlow College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2006, Christine became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist through the American Physical Therapy Association. In the same year, she was awarded a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy from the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapists. Currently, Christine serves as a faculty member of the Manual Therapy Institute and is an active member of both the national and Pennsylvania sectors of the American Physical Therapy Association. During her career, she has mentored and worked with physical therapists and physical therapy students to help them achieve their career goals. Over the past 10 years working as a physical therapist, Christine has gained an extensive background in treating Occupational Health and Workers Compensation injuries. When she is not in the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband.
Dana Adelizzi, DPT
Physical Therapist
Dana joined the staff of Apex Physical Therapy at the Pottstown-Coventry office in June of 2005. She graduated from Widener University in May of 2005, where she earned her Doctorate degree in physical therapy. Dana also completed the certificate program in Health Care Management from the School of Business Administration. Prior to attending Widener, Dana received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in physical therapy from Bloomsburg University in 1999. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association nationally. Dana enjoys working with people of all ages with an array of diagnoses and functional limitations. Outside of the clinic, Dana enjoys staying active with biking and exercise, along with lounging around with a good book.
Karin Tursack, MPT
Physical Therapist
Karin joined Apex Physical Therapy’s Pottstown-Coventry office in August of 2009. She graduated from St. Ambrose University in December of 2002 where she earned her Masters of Physical Therapy degree. Prior to this, Karin earned her Bachelors of Art degree in Psychology from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. During her career, she has treated a wide array of patients with orthopedic and neurological disorders. She has also participated in sports screenings for local universities and high schools, managed a work hardening program and mentored physical therapy students. Karin has a special interest in furthering her education in manual therapy and sports medicine. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys running, mixed martial arts and spending time with her daughters.
